Politics in the Japanese medieval times were based around the feudal system. The emperor being at the top, followed by the shogun, then the daimyo, samurai, craftsman + farmers, merchants and eta. FASHION: Samurais from the medieval times wore kimonos, shoes they wore were usually sandals. Women wore kimonos aswell, with flowerly patterns. RELIGION: Most people in Japan in the medieval ages believed in either Shintoism or Buddhism. It wasnt until later that other religions were introduced into Japan. |
NowPOLITICS:
Japan now still have an emperor, but they have a prime minister. Japan is a monarchy and a democratic. FASHION: The Japanese still have the traditional clothing like the kimonos, but have introduced more new clothes.The Japanese aim to be like cartoon characters; big eyes, coloured hair, bright clothes and are willing to do anything to fit into the fashion every day. RELIGION: 52% of Japanese believe in nothing, 35% of Japanese believe in Buddhism, 11% believe in Shintoism and 10% believe in Christianity. |
